Privacy Policy

TextSnoop is operated by Technology Kitchen Corporation. For purposes of applicable privacy law, Technology Kitchen Corporation is the operator and, where relevant, the controller of personal information handled through TextSnoop.

Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through the protected Contact page. The form requests a reply address so we can respond and, when necessary, verify the request without publishing an operator email address.

Text that you paste into TextSnoop and the cleaned output are processed locally in your browser. TextSnoop does not transmit that content to its application server, store it in its database, or use it to train an AI model. Copying or downloading a result is performed by your browser at your direction.

TextSnoop uses browser local storage to remember cleaning rules and copy-destination preferences on your device. This information is not sent to TextSnoop. You can remove it by selecting Reset to defaults in the tool or by clearing site data in your browser.

If you voluntarily submit feedback, TextSnoop stores the feedback message, a randomly generated record identifier, and the submission time. The feedback form does not request or attach your name, email address, account identity, pasted text, cleaned output, or browser preferences.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes limited technical information to prevent automated abuse, and the application performs temporary rate limiting without adding an IP address to the feedback database.

For ordinary product feedback, please do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information. Feedback is not a reply channel. Use the Contact page if you need a response or want to make a privacy request.

If you use the Contact page, TextSnoop stores only the category you select, your reply address, your message, the submission date, and the message status. The status allows the site operator to mark a message as new, in progress, or resolved. Contact messages are kept in a private owner-only inbox and are not combined with anonymous feedback.

The contact form does not attach your pasted text, cleaned output, browser preferences, name, phone number, or a visitor fingerprint. Please do not place confidential working text in your message. Cloudflare Turnstile processes limited technical information to prevent automated abuse, and the application performs temporary rate limiting without adding an IP address to the contact database.

TextSnoop is hosted using OpenAI ChatGPT Sites and supporting Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process routine request and diagnostic information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security events. Technology Kitchen Corporation does not use this information for advertising or cross-site profiling.

Their handling of information is also governed by the OpenAI Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Ordinary visitors do not need an account to use TextSnoop, submit feedback, or contact the operator. TextSnoop may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and participating third-party ad technology providers, vendors, and advertisers may serve or help select, deliver, measure, and protect advertisements shown on the site.

When advertising or an advertising consent message is enabled, Google and other third parties may place and read cookies in your browser and use web beacons, pixels, local storage, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or other device and browser identifiers. They may also receive information such as the page URL, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser or device type, language, date and time, and interactions with advertisements.

Advertising providers may collect this information directly from your browser and may share or use it to deliver ads, limit repeated ads, measure performance, create reports, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and, when permitted, personalize advertising. An advertiser or vendor that receives information handles it under its own privacy policy.

Advertising providers do not receive the text you paste into the cleaner, the cleaned output, your device-only cleaning preferences, anonymous feedback, or contact messages from TextSnoop. Those categories remain subject to the separate practices described in this policy.

TextSnoop uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic and how visitors use its pages and tools. Google Analytics may receive page URLs, page views and interactions, timestamps, approximate location derived from an IP address, and browser, device, and other technical information. Depending on your location, consent choice, browser, and Google configuration, Analytics may also use cookies or similar identifiers. This information is processed by Google to provide aggregated audience, performance, and usage reports to TextSnoop.

Google Analytics does not receive the text you paste into the cleaner or the cleaned output. TextSnoop uses Analytics reports to evaluate site usage and improve its pages and tools, and does not use those reports to identify the contents of a visitor's text.

A session cookie is also used when the site operator authenticates to the private Owner Dashboard; it is removed when that browser session ends. Hosting and security providers may use essential technologies as described in their policies.

Personalized ads may be selected using information about your interests, prior activity on this or other sites and apps, interactions with content or ads, general location, and Google Account or advertising settings. TextSnoop will request consent for personalized advertising where required by applicable law.

If ads are non-personalized, they may still be selected using contextual information such as the topic of the page, time of day, general location derived from an IP address, or browser and device type. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies or other identifiers for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency limits, aggregated reporting, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Choosing non-personalized ads does not mean that no ads will be shown or that no advertising information will be processed.

Where required, TextSnoop will present a privacy or consent message before using advertising or analytics data for purposes that require your permission. The message may let you consent, decline consent, or manage individual purposes and vendors. Your available choices may differ based on your location and applicable law.

When the Google consent message is active, you can reopen it by selecting Privacy choices in the site footer. Google may also display a Privacy and cookie settingscontrol on pages where its European regulations message is active. Either control lets you review, change, or withdraw your prior choices. Clearing browser cookies or site data may also clear the choice stored on that browser, after which the consent message may appear again.

You can separately review or change Google advertising choices in My Ad Center and Google Partner Ad Settings. You may also review the Google Privacy Policy, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google choices may be tied to a Google Account or apply only to a particular browser or device. Browser settings can also be used to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect site and consent-message behavior.

Information is handled to provide and secure the site, remember preferences on your device, receive voluntary feedback, answer contact messages and privacy requests, troubleshoot problems, understand site traffic and usage, display and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, prevent advertising fraud and abuse, record consent choices, comply with law, and protect TextSnoop and its visitors.

Where a legal basis is required, the applicable basis may be your consent, our legitimate interest in operating, supporting, and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or your voluntary action in submitting information. You may withdraw consent for future processing through the controls described above. Google and other advertising providers determine their own legal bases for activities they independently control.

TextSnoop does not use pasted or cleaned text to make automated decisions about visitors. Advertising providers may use identifiers and activity information to select or personalize ads as described above.

Technology Kitchen Corporation does not sell pasted text, cleaned output, contact messages, anonymous feedback, or device-only cleaner preferences. When advertising is enabled, Google and participating third-party advertising providers may collect information directly from your browser or receive advertising-related identifiers and interaction information for the purposes described above. Depending on the law where you live, some personalized or targeted advertising activities may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or cross-context behavioral advertising even when no money is exchanged for personal information. Where required, TextSnoop will provide an applicable consent or opt-out control.

Limited information may also be handled by hosting and infrastructure providers acting to deliver and secure the service, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Device preferences remain until you reset them or clear browser site data. The owner-authentication cookie lasts for the browser session. Contact submissions are scheduled for deletion 180 days after the submission date. The application removes expired records during the next contact submission or owner-inbox access. Anonymous feedback is retained only while reasonably useful for evaluating and improving TextSnoop, after which it may be deleted. Hosting and security providers retain technical information according to their own policies and service terms. Advertising providers retain cookies, identifiers, consent records, and related information according to their settings, policies, and legal obligations. Changing your consent affects future processing but may not delete information previously processed; you can also remove browser-stored data using your browser controls.

TextSnoop is available worldwide. Hosting providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Google and other advertising providers may also process advertising information internationally. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, Technology Kitchen Corporation and its providers rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information, to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, and to complain to a privacy or data-protection authority. Use the advertising and consent controls described above for advertising choices. Use the Contact page and choose Privacy request to make a request.

Because feedback is not linked to an identity, we may be unable to identify a particular anonymous submission without enough information to locate it, such as its approximate submission time and distinctive wording.

TextSnoop is not directed to children who are below the age at which they may independently consent to the handling of personal information under local law. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request its removal.

Browser-based Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are not interpreted consistently by every advertising provider or in every jurisdiction. A browser signal may not reopen TextSnoop’s Google consent message or change settings associated with your Google Account. To make or confirm an advertising choice, use the consent controls and Google advertising settings described above.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information handled by the site. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy when TextSnoop’s practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes will be presented with additional notice when appropriate.
