Markdown cleaner guide
Markdown uses punctuation to describe structure: hash marks create headings, asterisks and underscores add emphasis, brackets and parentheses form links, and backticks mark code. Those characters are useful in Markdown-aware applications but can look distracting when pasted into a plain-text field.
This preset enables Strip Markdown syntax. It handles common headings, block quotes, ordered and unordered list markers, emphasis, strikethrough, fenced and inline code markers, images, and links. Link labels and image descriptions remain readable while their destination syntax is removed.

Restore paragraph spacing converts supported rich boundaries and likely missing gaps into explicit blank rows that email and Word can preserve more reliably.

No. TextSnoop analyzes supported characters, spacing, punctuation, markup, and formatting patterns. Those patterns can appear in both human-written and AI-generated text, so they cannot establish who or what wrote it.
The tool removes only the specific characters and formatting selected in the cleaning rules. It does not claim to find or remove a universal AI watermark, change authorship, or defeat AI detection.
